REHEARSAL

WAVE is back at Harmony Hall, Truro Road, Walthamstow, E17 from Wednesday 8th September 2021, operating in a Covid-safe way…

New members are always welcome and no audition is needed. Try before you buy by turning up f or your first session free of charge on any Wednesday night during term time – or chat to Virginia in advance by sending her a message in the Contact section of the website.

WAVE rehearsals take place on Wednesday nights from 7.30 – 9.30pm in the Melody Room at Harmony Hall, 10 Truro Rd, London E17 7BY.  Songs include Jazz, Classical, Folk, Gospel and Pop.

For a Covid-safer singing environment, from Autumn 2021 we will be socially distanced in a large well-ventilated room and sanitiser will be provided. To protect further against infection, please do not come to choir rehearsal with Covid symptoms, or if sneezing or coughing persistently. Please also bring your own drinks and refreshments, including cups and utensils (though tap water will be available).

I love the teamwork involved in the rehearsals. Everybody supports each other. The music we are singing is challenging, but not complicated, and it’s very accessible.

I love the openness and friendliness of our choir family and the way that new members are greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel at home. Often 90 minutes once a week is not enough and I look forward to every lesson.

I love every minute of it. The variety of songs and people is so uplifting! I’m allways amazed how beautiful it sounds when our voices come together. What a fabulous job by our MD Virginia to make it happen! And I always take a belly full of melodies home, which carry me through to the next session…

High spot of my week too! Guaranteed mood improver like an injection of happiness. Virginia’s commitment and energy mean not a second is wasted, even the warmup exercises are fun. Wonderfully varied music both in mood and genre and lovely company make Wednesday nights unmissable!
